Acton Removals is an international and worldwide moving company based in Acton, W3. Plenty of firms in west London will move you across town. Fewer are set up to pack a house in Chiswick on a Tuesday and see it onto a ship bound for Fremantle, or run a lorry from Ealing to a Berlin apartment with the customs paperwork done before it reaches the Channel. That overseas side is where we spend our time, and it’s why the business exists.

Why West London, and why international

West London is one of the most international corners of the country. The people we move out of Acton, Chiswick, Ealing and the streets around them are heading everywhere — a finance job in Dubai, a family homecoming to Kerala, a startup pulling someone to a Berlin office, a retirement in the Algarve, a fresh start near Perth. We built the operation around that reality: a West-London base for collection and consolidation, secure storage on site, and the freight and customs knowledge to actually land a shipment on the other side of the world.

How we work

One team, doorstep to destination. The people who look round your flat are the ones who pack it, load it and prepare the inventory that customs will read. What you can expect us to say

We’d rather be exact than easy. If Australian biosecurity will hold your container because the garden tools weren’t cleaned, we’ll tell you before they go in the box. If a new TV shouldn’t be swept into “used effects” for an Indian customs declaration, we’ll say so. If a sailing schedule or a monsoon is out of our hands, we won’t promise a date to make you feel better. That plain-speaking is the thing customers remember, and it’s the reputation we care about protecting.
