We collect across west London, consolidate at Acton, and run the goods by road to a Mediterranean port and then by sea into Malta. Delivery covers Valletta and the harbour towns, Sliema and St Julian’s, the central towns, and — via the inter-island ferry to Mgarr — Gozo. If you are moving to Gozo, tell us early; the extra ferry leg is easy to plan for but worth building in.
Customs and the transfer of residence
A move to Malta is now an EU import. For a genuine relocation, used household and personal effects can generally enter without import duty and VAT under the transfer-of-residence provisions, against a proper inventory and declaration. We prepare the inventory and transit paperwork and work with a Maltese agent for the port side. As with Cyprus, a second home is declared differently from a primary move, so be clear with us which it is.
